Shed a Little Light on the Past
Mankind’s fascination with artificial light is as old as history itself but his ability to produce it has been costly and slow to develop. In the late 18th century, colonial Americans considered interior lighting a means of artistic expression. People of means often flauted their stature by utilizing many candles lit simultaneously.
Most chandeliers were hung quite close to the table to maximize the light. We hang them so in our shop. Our chandeliers offer authenticity, mood, and a chance to shed a little light on the past.
